21 & Above

Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, Writers of The Hangover again came up with a young adult comedy in year 2013. I love hangovers but not the second one because the first is always the best!

Nonetheless, they brought up the not so new type of movie, I mean 21 & over is pretty similar to other kind of young adult movies. It reminds me a lot of Project X but less brutality. 

21 & above starring Justin Chon, You may remember him from the famous Twilight and he was the model for Michelle Phan's Midnight Kiss advertisement for Lancome. 

Here's the Synopsis if you are curious to why I'd love this movie ;)

"Straight-A college student Jeff Chang has always done what’s expected of him. But when his two best friends Casey and Miller surprise him with a visit for his 21st birthday, he decides to do the unexpected for a change, even though his critical medical school interview is early the next morning. What was supposed to be one beer becomes one night of chaos, over indulgence and utter debauchery in this outrageous comedy."

Best movie year 2012

 Life of Pi is by far the greatest movie in year 2012

I have to admit that I did not expect so much of the movie

Before I went to the theatre to watch yesterday, I had myself googled for the rating 

It was given an 8.4 on IMDB

I know sometimes IMDB gives an over-rated rating so I wasn't expecting a crazy amazing movie

I realized after watching the movie that It would have been better to read the book first!

I was not too tempted to read the book when I first saw it in Kinokuniya

It is tad sad and not just adventurous life of Pi

With such a beautiful graphics, I wish I was there witnessing it myself!

It likes living in a fantasy world with magnificent sea creatures and other animal kingdom

In my honest opinion, I've never enjoyed a movie as much as I did with Life of Pi. To end your year 2012, for heaven sake what Life of Pi before you starts your 2013!

1973 - The Exorcist

The Exorcist was one of the scariest horror movie in the 1973. I have an over of 1973 page view so far and I decided to find out a topic to write about it. 

If you have not seen the exorcist and a horror lover, it is a MUST movie to watch. I guarantee you'd have your hair stands on end! Some people still thought it is one of the scariest movie ever made. I agreed and there are not many good horror movies these days. 

Come to think of it, I might also re-watch this by myself today.
